first of all, let me make it clear.i always say i am not against anyone in the blog entry, but this time i am letting you know that i AM aiming at somebody.not one, but a whole lot of them.
i just got retrenched by my previous company.altho the fact that they said it is not named as being retrenched.it is named as being "let go in the times of economic crisis"
seriously if you were to tell me you sack me, i would have taken it.but the fact that i dont find any reason you will want to sack me because i believe that i worked my fair share in the company compared to a handful of them
of course i have no rights to complain since i am not a part of the management and i dont really know how to suck-up to the right people in the company.i have done things that i self-proclaim that helped the company alot but oh well, afterall its self-proclaimed.
the company wouldnt have to face high cost if they hire people who are able to work and are working actually.all the people hired are always late for work and always leave early because the bosses are not around and the fact that they DO NOT need to clock in and out.
if i was given a job and all i do is talk big and wait for miracle to happen, i would do it most willingly.if all i do is to sit there and stare at the computer the whole day even tho the restaurant happens to be very busy,i would do it.if i can ask my friend to sit down at the restaurant the whole day and chat with me during my working hours,i would do the job.
if in the first place hiring a operation manager helps to improve the attitude of the floor crew was the plan,i will tell you now that the plan failed,HUGE.instead of asking for feedback, he takes our feedback like wind that passes him.so irresponsible yet no one finds out.such a miracle, and also proves that the bosses are not seeing the right thing.
like one of the customer told me, "kitchen are the backbone of the restaurant" but the first department on the chopping board is the kitchen staffs.such thoughtful bosses isnt it.its identical to doctors who just remove the backbone of a patient just because its taking too much space.
and then the worst thing is that after they put you on the chopping board, they start being "SO" nice to you.can u believe it?such hypocrites.jeez.
the boss doesnt even tell you straight that you are being fired.they have to go through our head chef.its not as if im working in a hotel.im working in restaurant that can hardly support themselves.im working in a place where everyone is back stabbing everyone.
isnt restaurant suppose to have lesser politics and more friendly pple.afterall since the fact that the restaurant holds lesser people.and im sure thats the reason why i decided to work in a restaurant in the first place.
well, i din mention i was exactly sad that i left the place.i kind of relieved.
at least i dont have to act all nice all the time.
